Does anyone else feel like a walking contradiction sometimes? I do, a lot! How so? Well I really thrive and accomplish more when I have things planned and make lists. I LOVE my planner and having events scheduled weeks ahead of time BUT, on the other hand, Valentine’s Day is a week away and I have yet to buy a single thing for my hubs or the kids! Really, Katie?? Come on! Get it together! I have these conversations with myself more times than I’d like to admit! Who is with me?
As if I needed another reason to love online shopping more, Amazon Prime has come to my rescue on more than one occasion! I love the fast, free shipping and the VAST selection of items! I have put together a list of my favorite Valentine’s Day gift ideas for your kiddos and your hubby that will arrive to your home in just a few days! It is FREEZING where we live and now I don’t have to get out in this nasty, cold weather to go shopping for the perfect gift! Mom Win!

What are your Valentine’s Day plans? Are you going out for a date night or staying in with the family! We usually try to do both! One year, before the twins were born, we stayed in with Rylee and made homemade, heart-shaped pizzas and funfetti cookies, we had sparkling grape juice, dinner by candlelight and watched a movie! She had a blast and thought our ‘fancy’ dinner was too cool! This year we are going to dinner and a concert with some friends! I also took Tyler to a tractor pull one year for Valentine’s Day … uhhhh … I hope he enjoyed that because it’s never happening again! Talk about getting major brownie points for that one! Ha!
